Shopping at Walgreens can save you BIG! The more you know the better and the more you know the more you save! It's a great place to stockpile on things you need.

Weekly Flier- Every Sunday Walgreens has a new sales flier. You can get it in your Sunday newspaper, online at www.walgreens.com, or at your local Walgreens. Inside you'll find their sales prices, what the Register Rewards are, and their store coupons. As with any store the best way to save yourself money is to find the sales and match any coupons you have to them. I'll have deals posted for you weekly to save you some time.

Register Rewards (RR)- When you purchase qualifying items, you get back a coupon called Register Rewards after you check out. It will pring out from the catalina. Catalina coupons are coupons you get when you check out, they are printed from a small machine next to the register. Register Rewards can be used like cash at a later shopping trip. So if you purchase a beverage that earns you $2 in Register Rewards you can use that $2 during your next purchase. Makes sure you don't use your Register Rewards to buy the same item that you got it for. In other words you can't use the same $2 you got for the beverage for the same beverage at your next shopping trip. Make sure you get all your Register Rewards at check out.

This site is really cool. They have their prices marked way down during their sales. I just bought some running shoes that are normally $90 for only $25! They are always having new sales every day. From what I can tell it's due to only having certian sizes left so they mark them way down to sell what's left. Still great deals if you can find your size!

Trouble at Target

So I went to Target today to use my store coupons with my manufacture coupons and went up to customer service to make sure I would be able to use more than one store coupon per transaction. So 2 boxes of Ritz with 2 store coupons and was told that wouldn't be a problem. Sooooo I loaded up my cart to match all the coupons I had and went up to the checkout still a little nervous about handing a stack of 50+ coupons to the check out lady and sure enough she gave me a hard time. Said it wasn't possible. I told her I had checked beforehand and wouldn't have taken a FULL cart of goods if I'd known they were going to tell me no. So I told her fine, then we'll do as many transactions needed to use up all my coupons. Well of course no cashier wants to do that many transactions so they did it all in one shot. Which I knew was possible they just need some coaxing.

SO that being said. If you are told you can't use more than one store coupon for a product that you have multiples of, kindly tell them you will do enough transactions until your order is complete and more often than not they'll do it all at once.

I did apologize for bringing so many items but did explain that I had checked beforehand. Because I did have 50+ items and wouldn't have done all my shopping at once if I'd know the hassel it was going to be and how much time it was going to take up. So if you can try to check with your store beforehand to be curtious.


As always check with the stores you shop at to make sure you know their coupon policies because all stores are different.
